Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits and error-correction frameworks for industrial applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and machine learning challenges
- Collaborate with materials scientists to advance qubit stability and coherence times
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for enterprise solutions
- Establish quantum security protocols against emerging cryptographic threats
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Present research findings at IEEE Quantum Computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion platforms
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Experience securing quantum-resistant cryptographic implementations
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
