Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and error correction
- Create quantum security protocols for next-generation encryption
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum systems architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Strong background in error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
