Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures with 10+ qubit coherence
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware/software integration
- Architect error-correction protocols for industrial-scale quantum systems
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum conferences
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant cryptography projects
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum gate-level design
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in Nature/Science quantum computing papers
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Security clearance eligibility for government partnerships
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
