Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors with >1000 qubit capacity
- Design error correction protocols for quantum coherence at 99.99% fidelity
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics or Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years developing quantum error correction algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuits
- Security clearance eligibility for national quantum initiatives
