Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance and error correction
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for next-gen AI systems
- Lead research initiatives in topological quantum computing and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Track record of published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography and quantum-resistant algorithms
