Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm research for practical 2026 applications
- Lead a team of quantum physicists and software engineers in error mitigation
- Collaborate with industry partners to prototype quantum solutions
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Drive roadmap development for next-generation quantum processors
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with demonstrated algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published record in quantum information science or related fields
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
