Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Manage and troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper hardware, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Ensure high availability and security of network systems through rigorous monitoring and testing.
- Collaborate with cloud architects to integrate on-premise infrastructure with AWS and Azure environments.
- Conduct network audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement security patches.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and IT staff.
- Document network configurations, topology maps, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification required.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies.
- Experience with VPN technologies, firewall management (Check Point, Palo Alto, or Cisco), and IDS/IPS.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Python or Bash) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
