Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and domain experts
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $10M+ in government and private research grants
- Publish findings in Nature/Science and present at global tech forums
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/IEEE)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience leading teams of 10+ researchers
- Patents in quantum computing or related fields preferred
