Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing research roadmaps targeting 2026 commercialization milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation
- Secure federal and private research funding ($500k+ annually)
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive academic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years quantum computing research with hardware/software integration
- Proven track record of securing research grants
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong background in quantum error correction protocols
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
