Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-optimized machine learning models
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum algorithm implementation with hardware constraints
- Secure research funding through federal grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates and drive innovation through our quantum sandbox incubator
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with tensor network simulations and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical applications
