Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Conduct experimental research on quantum hardware systems including superconducting qubits and ion traps
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance quantum computational fidelity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into commercial applications
- Publish high-impact research in leading scientific journals and conferences
- Lead quantum computing projects from theoretical conception to experimental validation
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to intellectual property development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantum discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum information theory
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and assembly-level languages
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Familiarity with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware interfaces
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
