Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Develop error mitigation strategies for NISQ-era systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals
- Secure grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry consortia
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit or Cirq
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of securing research funding
