Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography applications
- Develop error mitigation techniques for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to characterize and improve quantum coherence times
- Lead experimental validation of quantum advantage claims in real-world scenarios
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (VQE, QAOA, Shor's algorithm variants)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, PyTorch Quantum)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical analysis
