Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 1000+ qubit processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for enterprise clients
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction protocols
- Secure $1M+ in government/private research grants
- Present findings at global quantum computing symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum gate-based systems (IBM/Qiskit or Google/Cirq)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware testing
- Strong track record of securing research funding
