Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Develop quantum machine learning models that outperform classical approaches
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and establish best practices for quantum software development
- Secure research funding through grants and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, etc.)
