In this role, you'll leverage our state-of-the-art quantum annealing systems and collaborate with Nobel laureates, industry disruptors, and government partners. Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to hybridize quantum-classical workflows
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $1M+ in DoE/NASA quantum research grants
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory (BQP, QMA)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
