Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems using superconducting qubits and photonic processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present findings at global conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams in quantum programming methodologies
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize quantum system architectures
- Secure $500K+ in annual research grants from government and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing
- Published record in quantum information science with 20+ citations
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and quantum error mitigation techniques
