Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models for 2026-era applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy benchmarks on 100+ qubit systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature/Science quantum computing special issues
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate architectures
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers on quantum algorithm development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals (e.g., Quantum Information & Computation)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation or photonic quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into experimental implementations
- Strong background in quantum information theory and topological quantum computing
