Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Collaborate on cryogenic quantum hardware development and testing
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models into practical applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable systems
- Secure and manage $5M+ in research grants from federal and private entities

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published work in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
