Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography, optimization, and AI
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with materials scientists to develop scalable quantum hardware architectures
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature/Science journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation across physics, CS, and engineering teams
- Secure $1M+ in research grants and partnerships for quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- Published work in quantum information theory or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Experience with quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics
- Track record of securing research funding or industry partnerships
