Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum key distribution (QKD) networks across US infrastructure
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum repeater systems
- Optimize quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
- Lead integration of quantum sensors into IoT security frameworks
- Collaborate with DARPA on quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Document quantum network topology and security protocols
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum algorithm implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, surface, LDPC)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum communication or topological computing
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government projects
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system deployment
- Strong background in quantum machine learning frameworks
