Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems for commercial deployment
- Design hybrid quantum-classical algorithms solving NP-hard optimization problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum accelerators
- Translate theoretical research into patentable quantum hardware designs
- Establish industry standards for quantum API integration
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (Rigetti, IonQ, IBM Quantum)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Proven ability to translate theory into practical implementations
