Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat platforms across multiple channels (social media, forums, live streams)
- Enforce community guidelines and brand standards with consistent professionalism
- Identify and escalate inappropriate content, spam, or security threats promptly
- Document moderation activities and provide weekly performance analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve moderation strategies
- Respond to user inquiries and resolve conflicts with empathy and efficiency
- Participate in ongoing training about emerging digital trends and threats
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in community moderation or customer service
- Exceptional written communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in using moderation tools (e.g., Modibot, Discord, Talkwalker)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital etiquette
- Available to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Must have reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office space
