Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat platforms across multiple channels (social media, forums, live streams)
- Enforce community guidelines and content policies with precision and consistency
- Handle sensitive escalations including harassment, threats, and misinformation
- Generate detailed moderation reports and analytics for client stakeholders
- Train junior moderators on protocol updates and best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to improve moderation tools and workflows
- Manage high-volume chat sessions during peak traffic periods
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in content moderation, community management, or digital safety
- Expert knowledge of social media platforms (TikTok, Discord, Twitch, etc.)
- Certification in digital literacy or online safety preferred
- Exceptional written communication with zero-tolerance for errors
- Ability to multitask across 10+ concurrent chat sessions
- Proficiency with moderation tools (ModSquad, Two Hat, etc.)
- Strong understanding of US digital compliance regulations (COPPA, GDPR)
