This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States, with a strong preference for candidates in Anchorage, Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Monitor live chat streams and messaging platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and safety policies.
- Respond to user inquiries, resolve conflicts, and provide exceptional customer support in real-time.
- Identify and de-escalate toxic behavior, spam, or inappropriate content immediately.
- Engage with the community to foster a welcoming atmosphere and encourage positive interactions.
- Collaborate with the moderation team to update policies and improve user experience.
- Document incidents and report technical issues to the appropriate support channels.
- Conduct periodic audits of chat logs to identify trends or emerging issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for grammar and detail.
- Ability to type 40+ words per minute with high accuracy.
- Must reside within the United States (Anchorage, AK preferred).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a distraction-free home office setup.
- Previous experience in customer service, social media moderation, or community management is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
