Responsibilities
- Moderate live chat sessions in real-time to ensure compliance with community guidelines and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and guiding users through complex processes.
- Identify and de-escalate potential conflicts or abusive behavior while maintaining a neutral, professional tone.
- Monitor chat metrics and performance reports to suggest improvements for chat flows and user experience.
- Collaborate with the content moderation team to update FAQ resources and help documentation.
- Uphold the brand's voice and values in every interaction to foster community trust and loyalty.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in customer support, chat moderation, or community management (1+ years preferred).
- Excellent typing speed (minimum 45 WPM) with high accuracy.
- Strong command of the English language, including advanced grammar and spelling.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Ability to multitask across multiple chat windows and maintain composure under pressure.
