Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time chat streams and social media channels to identify and remove inappropriate content, spam, and trolls.
- Enforce community guidelines and safety policies consistently and fairly.
- Assist users with account issues, FAQs, and technical inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Escalate complex user conflicts and policy violations to senior moderation management.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere by engaging with users and encouraging constructive dialogue.
- Track and report trends in user behavior to improve community health.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
- Excellent written English skills with a strong command of grammar and spelling.
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with high accuracy.
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, Discord, Reddit, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently in a remote setting.
