Responsibilities
- Monitor live chat channels to ensure compliance with community guidelines and company policies.
- Engage with users in a professional, friendly, and timely manner to foster a positive community atmosphere.
- Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or toxic behavior before they escalate.
- Report technical issues or suspicious activities to the moderation team for immediate review.
- Assist users with inquiries regarding products, services, and account management via chat.
- Maintain accurate records of moderation activities and user interactions.
- Collaborate with the wider team to improve chat workflows and user satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in community management, customer support, or online moderation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 45 WPM).
- Strong ability to remain calm, objective, and empathetic under pressure.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and chat software is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
