Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time chat conversations across multiple platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines
- Respond promptly to user inquiries, conflicts, and policy violations with professionalism
- Document and escalate escalated issues to senior moderators for resolution
- Generate daily moderation reports and performance analytics
- Collaborate with content teams to identify emerging trends and conversation patterns
- Train and onboard new moderators on moderation protocols and tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, moderation, or community management
- Exceptional written communication skills with 60+ WPM typing speed
- Proficiency with chat moderation tools (ModSquad, ModTools, etc.)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital etiquette
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
