Responsibilities
- Monitor live chat sessions across social platforms and forums to ensure compliance with community guidelines
- Respond to user inquiries with professionalism and empathy within 5 minutes
- Identify and escalate inappropriate content, harassment, or policy violations
- Maintain detailed moderation logs and activity reports for team analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement moderation strategies
- Participate in bi-weekly training sessions on platform updates and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year customer service or social media moderation experience
- Exceptional written communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings/weekends
- Proficient in using moderation tools (ModSquad, Modibot, etc.)
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
- High-speed internet connection and dedicated home office space
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
