Responsibilities
- Monitor live chat platforms 24/7 to enforce community guidelines and brand standards
- Respond to user inquiries with empathy and professionalism within target response times
- Identify and escalate high-risk situations (harassment, spam, policy violations) to senior moderators
- Generate daily moderation reports detailing key metrics and incident trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine moderation protocols and training materials
- Maintain accurate documentation of moderation actions and user interactions
- Participate in bi-weekly team training sessions to stay updated on platform features and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in content moderation, customer service, or community management
- Exceptional written communication skills with flawless grammar and spelling
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in high-volume chat environments
- Proficiency with multitasking across multiple chat platforms simultaneously
- Strong understanding of digital safety protocols and content moderation best practices
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
