What You'll Do:
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical modeling to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and track performance metrics
- Design data pipelines to automate reporting and ensure data quality across systems
- Present findings through compelling visualizations and strategic recommendations
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize business initiatives
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging analytics tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence
- Expert proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Advanced skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and data visualization tools
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical insights to non-technical audiences
- Located in San Francisco Bay Area (for occasional in-person meetups)
