Responsibilities
- Data Management: Extract, clean, and transform raw data from various sources into structured, usable formats.
- Visualization: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) to track KPIs and operational metrics.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Database Querying: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with departments to identify data needs and recommend solutions for process improvement.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to support future business planning and growth.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL, Python, or R. Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, AWS Redshift) is a plus.
- Visualization Tools: Expert level experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business value.
- Location: Must be legally authorized to work in the US and reside within or near Detroit, Michigan.
- Work Style: Self-motivated, independent worker capable of managing time effectively in a remote setting.
