Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Data Analyst to join our growing team based in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in transforming raw data into actionable business insights that drive strategic decision-making. Our team operates in a fully remote-first environment, allowing you to work from anywhere in the Austin metro area or beyond.

Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Write complex SQL queries and scripts to extract data and support ad-hoc analytical requests.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Partner with business units to define data requirements and develop metrics that align with organizational goals.
- Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual data entry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift) and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Expert level experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, non-technical insights.
