Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and forecasting to support business strategy and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and data governance best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the government, consulting, or finance sectors.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in SQL for querying databases and advanced Excel skills.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to diverse audiences.
- Location: Must be legally authorized to work in the USA and able to work from home without sponsorship.
