Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in company databases and spreadsheets with a high degree of accuracy.
- Verify and cross-reference data to ensure completeness and correctness before submission.
- Transcribe information from various sources, including physical documents and digital files, into digital formats.
- Review and correct errors in data entry, identifying discrepancies and escalating issues when necessary.
- Organize and file digital records efficiently to ensure easy retrieval and data integrity.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to clarify data requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries based on entered data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or certification in data processing is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Exceptional typing speed with a minimum of 45 words per minute.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
