Responsibilities
- Accurately input data from various sources into company databases and spreadsheets.
- Review and verify data for errors, omissions, and inconsistencies before processing.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval.
- Transcribe information from documents into text formats with high precision.
- Assist in the daily management of email inquiries related to data requests.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and security of all sensitive information handled.
- Report any technical issues with data entry software to the IT department promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or prior data entry experience is a plus.
- Proven typing speed of at least 40-50 WPM with high accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of data privacy and security protocols.
