Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot remote desktop environments and network connectivity for the Houston-based team.
- Configure and deploy new hardware and software provided to remote employees.
- Monitor system performance and ensure 100% uptime for remote workstations.
- Provide technical support and training to staff regarding equipment usage and security protocols.
- Collaborate with the IT department to implement security updates and firewall configurations.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures for remote operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a related technical field.
- Proven experience working in a remote work environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking, hardware troubleshooting, and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines in a flexible schedule.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or IT certification preferred.
