Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot remote IT equipment including laptops, peripherals, and communication systems
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to remote employees across the US
- Document all hardware/software issues and resolutions in CRM systems
- Coordinate equipment logistics including shipping, returns, and inventory management
- Collaborate with vendors to procure and test new hardware solutions
- Develop training materials for remote equipment onboarding procedures
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential equipment failures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of IT support experience with remote/hardware focus
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent hardware certification required
- Proficiency in Windows/macOS systems and networking fundamentals
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with remote work tools like Slack, Zoom, and Jira
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues independently
- Valid North Carolina driver's license for occasional equipment pickups
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
