Role Overview
As a Remote IT Support Engineer, you will be the frontline technical expert for our clients. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage virtual environments, and ensure seamless connectivity for our remote workforce. This is a fully remote position for residents of the Tampa, FL area.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 & 3 technical support via remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot hardware peripherals, including laptops, monitors, and printers.
- Manage virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and cloud-based applications (Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack).
- Ensure data security and perform regular system updates and backups.
- Collaborate with the on-site team in Tampa for quarterly team-building events and server maintenance.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in IT Support or Help Desk roles.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience with remote access software (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, LogMeIn).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
