Responsibilities
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including operating system crashes, printer malfunctions, and network connectivity problems.
- Manage and deploy company-provided equipment to new remote employees, ensuring all software is pre-loaded and configured.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and tickets in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the Network Engineering team to troubleshoot broader infrastructure issues affecting remote access.
- Stay updated on the latest software updates and security patches to ensure system integrity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or customer service.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows 10/11, macOS, and common office applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions.
- Ability to work US Eastern Standard Time hours or rotating shifts as needed.
