Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for remote employees efficiently and effectively.
- Ticket Management: Log and manage support tickets within our CRM system, prioritizing issues based on impact.
- Remote Setup: Assist in the remote setup and configuration of new employee workstations and peripherals.
- Software Training: Provide clear, step-by-step guidance to users regarding software applications and company policies.
- System Maintenance: Monitor system performance and security alerts to prevent downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in IT support, help desk, or technical customer service (1+ years preferred).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common peripheral hardware.
- Reliability: A stable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree in IT or related field is a plus.
