- Transcribe medical dictations from physicians and healthcare professionals into accurate electronic health records
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality protocols
- Edit and proofread transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology accuracy
- Utilize digital transcription software and maintain organized digital workspaces
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining 98.5% accuracy rate
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical transcription experience or equivalent healthcare documentation training
- Proficiency in medical terminology (anatomy, physiology, pharmacology)
- Exceptional typing speed (minimum 85 WPM) with high accuracy
- Experience with EHR systems and transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, MModal)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting
