- Transcribe Medical Records: Accurately convert physician and specialist dictation into formatted medical reports and documents.
- Quality Assurance: Proofread all transcriptions to ensure 99% accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
- Deadline Management: Efficiently manage high-volume workloads to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Confidentiality: Strictly adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and maintain the privacy of all patient data.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard transcription software (e.g., EHR systems) to upload and track files.
- Communication: Collaborate with healthcare providers and QA editors to clarify complex medical terminology.
Qualifications
- Typing Speed: Minimum of 60-70 WPM with high accuracy.
- Medical Terminology: Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in medical transcription or related healthcare documentation.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and specifically medical transcription platforms.
- Reliability: Stable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Certification (CMT/AMT) preferred.
