- Adhere to strict privacy policies and patient confidentiality regulations (HIPAA compliance).
- Format transcripts according to client specifications and internal style guides.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify ambiguous dictations when necessary.
- Meet daily and weekly production quotas with high accuracy rates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or certification in Medical Transcription preferred.
- Proven experience in medical transcription or a strong aptitude for learning medical terminology.
- Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM with 99% accuracy.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home office space.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines.
