Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 remote technical support for enterprise-level cybersecurity systems during night shift hours
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents, and system vulnerabilities
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and implement remediation protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident response and threat mitigation
- Document security incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments
- Maintain compliance with NIST and federal cybersecurity standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or cybersecurity operations
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Proven ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM EST)
- Expert knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, networking protocols, and cloud platforms
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting and documentation
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance (preference given to cleared candidates)
