Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain critical systems during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM CST)
- Respond to urgent tickets and resolve technical issues with 15-minute SLA
- Collaborate with global teams using Slack, Jira, and Microsoft Teams
- Generate daily shift reports and document incident resolutions
- Proactively identify system vulnerabilities and implement fixes
- Train junior staff on night shift protocols and emergency procedures
- Participate in quarterly cross-departmental improvement projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years in IT operations or customer support
- Proven night shift experience with documented reliability
- Proficient in AWS/Azure and ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Exceptional problem-solving skills under pressure
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must reside in Texas with reliable high-speed internet
