We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Part-Time Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team based in New York. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide exceptional technical assistance to our distributed workforce while enjoying the flexibility of a remote role.
The Role:
In this position, we provide all necessary equipment to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed from day one, including a high-performance laptop, dual monitors, and a mobile phone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for employees across the US.
- Manage and distribute company equipment (laptops, peripherals) to new hires.
- Document all support tickets and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve remote support processes.
- Ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or customer service.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection.
