As a QA Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our software meets the highest standards before release.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test plans to identify software defects and bugs.
- Document detailed bug reports using Jira or similar ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new updates do not break existing functionality.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings via video conferencing.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all testing tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with high-speed internet.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or scripting languages (Python, Java) is highly desirable.
