Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using modern technologies.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to define and implement new features.
- Optimize application performance, security, and reliability in a cloud environment.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions with the Tampa-based leadership team.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical roadmap.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development (Java, Python, or Go preferred).
- Strong proficiency in relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
